Refrigeration & Oxygen Company Limited was established in 1960 with an investment of more than KD 1,500,000/- by a dedicated team of engineers.

The company started with Refrigeration plant and cold storage facilities and there after the company kept on adding the products as per customer demand. 

R.O.C. now manufactures an extensive range of gases i.e. oxygen, nitrogen, acetylene, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, gas mixtures and dry Ice. Recently, R.O.C. has also added the facility to manufacture, speciallity and Lab. Grade gases. It markets and distributes ammonia, helium, chlorine, refrigerants and specialty gases as well.

The company also sells a wide range of industrial, medical and safety equipment such as gas pressure regulators, gas cylinders, gas valves, gas hoses, medical breathing masks, welding equipment, cutting apparatus, safety goggles, safety boots, safety jackets, safety gloves and safety helmets.

Our mission is to understand client’s needs and develop effective solutions, which satisfy their requirements and serve to meet their challenges. Our principle customers are KOC, KNPC (Oil refineries), Equate, hospitals, medical clinics and laboratories, Ministry of Defense, U.S. Army, Petrochemical Industries Co (PIC), Kuwait University, KISR. It also fulfills the need of many educational institutes, Scientific and Research Lab, Refrigeration and Air conditioning, Marine and Transportation companies. Beside these domestic customers, the company also exports to Saudi Arabia, U.A.E. & Qatar.

R.O.C. specializes in combining the sophisticated manufacturing practice with the inexpensive operation to achieve its goal of excellent quality at a competitive price. The success of the company can be gauged from the fact that almost 20% annual growth over past several years has been achieved from narrow customer base, because of repeated business and the loyalty that the company reciprocates with its customers.

The manufacturing facility are spread out into two locations i.e. Shuwaikh and Shuaiba Industrial Area and well equipped with State-of-Art test shop, test laboratory with standard room and workshop and automotive shop. Its showroom spreads all over the major industrial areas in Kuwait.  The company is facilitated with different capacities of cryogenic liquid mobile tankers, gas tube trailers in super, medium & small capacities to meet export demand.

The total operations of the company are computerized by a dedicated and experienced management to add values to our products and services. The management has excellent relation with its workforce of around 126 employees and their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
